Expedition Joe Coffee offers both single origin coffees and coffee blends. A single origin coffee means the coffee beans were grown and processed from the same location or crop. A coffee blend is exactly what it sounds like — a coffee that is made up of coffee beans originating from more than one place. Those beans can be from separate coffee farms in the same region, from other areas of the same country or from different countries around the world.
Coffee blends come from mixing two or more different high-quality beans to create a unique flavor profile. As we all know, different coffee beans produce different coffee flavors. It stands to reason that by combining different beans together, you can create an incredible tasting coffee blend.
At Expedition Joe we source our premium coffee beans from around the globe and combine and blend them to create contrast and can make flavors that are smooth and bold. A couple of our favorite blends include our Expedition Espresso, a blend of Colombian, Panamanian and Sumatran coffee and our Native Sun coffee which has rich cocoa undertones. Our other blends include: Rover "88" Roast, Appalachian Sunrise and Sweet Cinnamon Pecan.
